Shipping options

We currently offer a flat rate for online whisky retail sales or click and collect from distillery door. Shipping costs for hand sanitiser are calculated in the shopping cart as there are limits on how much liquid can be posted in each shipment, these costs will be added to your order total before checkout.

Like you, when we buy online we want the goods as soon as possible. We therefore try to post online orders by the next working business day, sometimes this may even be the same day, however this is not guaranteed.

Tracking

All deliveries include free tracking. The tracking number will be emailed to you once the goods have been sent and updates given as the delivery progresses. If you do not receive an email when your order has been completed please check your ‘spam’ folder as it might be in there.

Shipping times are estimated at between 2-6 business days depending on your location.

If the delivery address requires changing we are unable to action this after the item has been despatched.

Deliveries will be made to the delivery address specified in your order. If this address proves to have been provided incorrectly by you, the goods will be returned to us and once the correct address has been provided, the goods will be shipped again at an additional cost to you.

Signature on delivery

Chief’s Son Distillery supports the responsible service of alcohol. It is against the law to sell to, supply to or obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. You must be over 18 years of age to place an order online or over the phone or receive a delivery.

A person receiving the goods at your premises must therefore be at least 18 years of age. Proof of age by means of a valid driver’s licence, passport or other accepted form of ID may be requested at the time of delivery.

Unattended Deliveries. If you pay by PayPal or credit card, you can request your delivery is left on your doorstep if no one is home. Our carriers reserve the right to leave a card (instead of your order) even if you request an unattended delivery.

They may do so if:

• There is no clear delivery instruction authorising them to leave the parcel in a safe place.
• Somebody is home but they cannot provide proof of age.
• The driver is concerned that minors are present in the vicinity of your premises.

Non delivery to ‘Restricted Dry Zone’ areas

Please DO NOT order from us if your order is to be posted to one of the areas with the following postcodes:

• Queensland: 4871, 4876, 4605, 4830, 4825, 4713, 4873, 4874, 4816.
• South Australia: 5690, 872, 5710, 5724.
• Northern Territory: no delivery for postcodes between 0822-0827, 0852, 0854-0859, 0862-0869, 0872-0886.
• Western Australia: 6330, 6431, 6435, 6436, 6438, 6440, 6642, 6646, 6721, 6753, 6758, 6728, 6743, 6765, 6770, 6470.
