DISTILLER’S SELECT 2025 – 45.94%
The Distiller’s Select series is an annual, limited release bottling, hand selected by the Distiller’s to reveal the most exciting and unique styles and finishing’s of whisky created by Chief’s Son Distillery.
All of the whisky for the 2025 bottling was double matured, firstly through French oak, ex Red Wine casks and then Dainton Brewery Dark Lord, Imperial Stout casks. Over six years, this has created a unique Single Malt Whiksy that embodies the Chief’s Son DNA, but adds a dark sweetness, intensity of malt and an exceptional depth of flavour.
With very limited distribution, this annual bottling offers loyal supporters a unique insight into the individuality of our Single Malt Whiskies.

TASTING NOTES
Appearance
Burnt umber, excellent clarity, 8/10 viscosity.
Nose
Bold and unique, creamy toffee, jersey caramel, brown sugar, passionfruit and guava, cocoa and coffee, Guinness, heather flowers, dried tea.
Taste
Sandalwood, fire roasted raisin toast, dark malt and mandarins, sweet liqueur and old timber.
Finish
Sticky and smooth, deep oak, long tobacco and caramelised stout.
