Black Forge Espresso Martini Recipe
This is the serve most people will reach for first, and it will not disappoint. Because Black Forge uses whisky rather than vodka as its base, the espresso martini has a depth and complexity that the standard version simply doesn’t. And because Deceit is decaf, you can shake one at any hour.

Ingredients:
45ml Black Forge Whisky Coffee Liqueur
30ml FORGE (optional — if your wanting to make the double espresson martini)
45ml / One double shot of espresso, freshly pulled and cooled slightly
15ml Sugar syrup
7ml of your favoourite chocolate
────────────
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake hard for 15 seconds until the shaker is very cold.
Double strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
Garnish with three coffee beans. Serve immediately.

About Chief’s Son Distillery
Chief’s Son is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Mornington Peninsula, founded by Stuart and Naomi McIntosh. We have been distilling whisky on the Peninsula since 2013 with one consistent obsession: making Australian single malt whisky that is worth the wait.
Our range includes the 900 Standard, 900 Pure Malt, 900 Sweet Peat, FORGE Single Malt, N7 Single Malt Vodka, and the annual Distiller’s Select limited release series. Black Forge is the newest member of the family, our first liqueur, and our first collaboration with a Peninsula coffee roaster Revs Coffee .
Everything we make starts with an obsession — with the grain, the barrel, the process. Black Forge is no different.
